You must have spent both loads of hours and money shopping from the time you discovered it was a boy or girl.  Must have said ‘cute’ on every small thing and picked it with love for your little one to come.  But do you get to see all those things on your little baby when he is handed over to you for the first time?  Probably not!  Chances are that he would be wearing all the clothes you bought underneath but would be covered with wrapping scarves and shawls for the initial couple of weeks.

The days following birth babies are swaddled tightly to keep them warm and provide them the tight feeling of the womb.  Warm baby wrap scarves are available in many different shapes sizes and colors.  Great care should be taken in choosing baby wraps.  They should not be too big or two small and should serve the purpose of cocooning.

So the best thing to buy for the first couple of weeks is lots of wrapping scarves which look and feel comfortable and classy.
